• 304 grade stainless steel is considered the most basic and widely used grade among stainless steels.
• 304L is the low-carbon version of 304 grade. This provides improved resistance against intergranular corrosion and structural changes.
• 316 grade stainless steel offers high resistance, especially in environments exposed to severe corrosion such as building exteriors.
• 316L has similar properties to 316 grade; additionally, it provides higher resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
• 430 grade stainless steel belongs to the ferritic group and is one of the most widely used ferritic stainless steels.
